Process Technology - 3MCPDE & GE Mitigation
Sumwin's patented 3-step process reduces 3MCPDE & GE in edible oils to less than1.25 PPM and less than 1 PPM GE.
What is the 3-step 3MCPDE & GE mitigation process technology?
Sumwin’s 3-step 3MCPDE & GE mitigation process is a proprietary technology designed to significantly reduce contaminants in edible oils in a highly cost-effective way. The process includes:

-
Liquid-Liquid Extraction – targets and removes key precursors early in the refining process.
-
REDGEM Adsorbent – a unique mineral and carbon-based formulation that can be used as part of the process or as a standalone solution for excellent mitigation results.
-
GE Post-Stripping – final purification to reduce Glycidyl Esters (GE) to ultra-low levels.

Together, these steps reduce 3MCPDE to below 1.25 PPM and GE to below 1 PPM, delivering a world-class, efficient, and scalable solution for meeting regulatory standards.
What are the Benefits?
Oil loss in water practically nil (less than 0.1%)
Oil Loss
No WWTP Expansion required and has SCADA integration.
WWTP & SCADA
Result: 3MCPDE < 1.25 PPM , GE < 1 PPM & no change in oil quality.
Results
CAPEX & OPEX
Low CAPEX and minimal OPEX required.
It can be seamlessly integrated into a mill or refinery
Seamless Integration
No increase in maintenance cost or downtime and no drop in throughput.
Downtime & Throughput
How it Works?

Waste water after extraction- no oil

Oil-water interface
